Beginning life as a cute little idea in the brain of writer-director Stephen Troy, Revenge of the Nail quickly spiraled into being one of his most well known student productions.

Premiering on campus at the "Open Reel Film Festival," where it was awarded "judges choice" from the film/video faculty. The students began to talk about it, and when it was selected a month later for the school's Juried Honors Exhibition, it was clear that this little film was more than anyone originally predicted.

It began to get passed around, and soon more and more screening opportunities opened up for it. Considering it was made for less than thirty dollars and shot in less than 6 hours, the project has had quite a bit of success, so much so that Stephen Troy would come to name his young production company after it.

Truly an experience as much as a story, seeing Revenge of the Nail surrounded by an audience is a one-of-a-kind event. If you get a chance to see the short with a large group, don't miss out!
