History and Status
Completed and listed on imdb.
Currently submitting to select independent film festivals.
"Liz" was created for the Fall 2009 Advanced Video Production course at Fitchburg State College.
Although far from being the last film Stephen Troy would helm in his time at FSC, it is undoubtedly his student-directorial opus. Troy's co-writing and co-producing earned this production the title "a Stephen Troy short".
The crew of the film were some of the best of the FSC Class of 2010, featuring cinematography by Gregory Nazarian, production design by Andrew Finley, editing by Evan T. Perry, and more. The complete list can be found below. Such a talented crew of student and semiprofessional filmmakers only comes along once in a blue moon.
About
A complex screenplay that took more than a year to perfect, the story revolves around a man named Tom, played by Conor Timmis, and his imaginary girlfriend Liz. Tom seems to have a Roommate, played by Timothy Mottola, but that guy is so completely strange that Tom is obviously looney and we can't really trust anything we see.
Or anything we don't see...
