Andrew Finley
Andrew Finley is a filmmaker in the Boston metro area mostly specializing in production design and working in the art department. His career started early in High school when he started building sets for his school’s theatre department. Eventually Andrew moved his interest toward film and writing while still applying his design skills to them during his studies at film school.
While getting his degree, Andrew worked on over 30 short films by himself as well as with others. Some of those films went on to win awards and be featured in several different film festivals such Campus Movie Fest, Open Reel Film Festival, the 48 Hour Film Festival, and the Boston Underground Film Festival. He has also done short informative films for large international corporations such as Cross Country Automotive, and small organizations such as the FSC Moot Court.
Though he excels in the art department he also has worked as a cinematographer, writer, composer, editor, producer and more all while building several of his college’s theatre department’s sets. Andrew continues his career by working with his peers on shorts such as We Gatta Eat!, The Pond and Junk Mail. Andrew plans to continue his work in the art department by bringing his new and exciting ideas to the independent film community.
